FoodShootr is the place to share the images you take of any kind of food. Whether you are a hobbyist, amateur or professional, we want you to share your images with us. Unlike other sites, we don’t care if your pictures aren’t colour balanced or have the right lighting. We also don’t care if they were taken on a DSLR, a point-and-shoot or your cell phone. Here at FoodShootr, we have a passion for food and photography and we’d love to see your food images no matter your skill level.
At FoodShootr, you can not only post images but you can write a post and comment on other people’s photos. Feel free to interact and help each other out by giving constructive criticism, tips or simply compliment the photographs. As well as you, the users, posting your images at FoodShootr, we will also be posting our own images to the site. We want this to be a fun, welcoming environment where everyone can share and express their love and passion for taking pictures of food.

Question: How do I share my favourite posts with my friends?
Answer:
You can share your favourite posts by using Facebook, Twitter, Google, Digg or email. Just click the Facebook Send button, Google +1 button, Digg button, email button or Twitter button and fill out the required information. This will share the specific post you are on with your friends or anyone you want to share it with.
Question: Can anyone submit pictures?
Answer:
Yes, anyone can submit pictures, but you must first register with FoodShootr. Registration is free, and by signing up you will be able to comment on other people’s posts and interact with others.
Question: What are your submission rules?
Answer:
1) Do not submit inappropriate content. This is a food photography sharing website, and inappropriate content will not be tolerated.
2) Only post images that you have taken. Do not steal other people’s or website’s pictures.
3) Do not violate anyone’s copyrights. Any post with violations will be removed immediately. Let us know if you see your images online and you didn’t post them/
4) We reserve the right to not post submissions (they will only not be posted if you do not follow the rules).
5) Submissions are moderated.
Question: What are your image criteria?
Answer:
Unlike other sites, we don’t really have a criteria for the images. We don’t really care if the images are colour corrected or not, or if they don’t have the right lighting. If you want to post a photo taken on a DSLR, that’s great. If you want to share an image posted from your mobile device that’s fine too.
Question: Why did my photo get declined?
Answer:
If your image was declined, it was either the wrong image format, the file was too big or it didn’t follow the rules.
Question: How long does it take for submissions to appear on the site?
Answer:
Your images can take up to 12 hours to be posted, but are usually posted much sooner. Although the normal time shouldn’t be too long, it could take anywhere from 12-24 hrs. On occasion, you may see your images posted a couple of days later. If this is the case, we apologize. We are only human and sometimes time is not on our side.
